Teknor Specialty Compounding is a diversified custom and toll manufacturer of thermoplastic compounds, additive masterbatches and blends.
Our proprietary product line includes:
- Filled and reinforced polyolefins
- Flame retardant polyolefins
- EVA compounds for the packaging industry
- Flame retardant and other additive masterbatches
As a toll manufacturer, we are a resource for customers requiring an independent, confidential provider of production capacity, with formulating experience and process expertise.
Our capabilities include:
- Extrusion compounding for all major commodity and high-performance thermoplastic resins
- Precolored or natural
- Moisture sensitive or not - Powder and additive blending of up to seven dry powders and two liquids
- Additive masterbatches
The Specialty Compounding division draws on Teknor's extensive experience in plastic compounding and blending. The division utilizes all of the manufacturing facilities of Teknor Apex including its analytical laboratories
